The Ferrari 330 P4 was a mid-engined V12 4 litre Sports car using an evolved 400 'Superamerica' Columbo engine giving 450hp through a 5 speed gearbox. The P4 replaced the previous year's unsuccessful P3 and was Ferrari's response to the all conquering Ford GT40 which had famously beaten the red cars the previous season, much to disgust of Enzo Ferrari.
The No.24 car was entered by Equipe Nationale Belge and driven by the Belgian pairing of Willie Mairesse and Jean Blaton, ultimately finishing third behind the No.21 Ferrari. The race was again won by the American Ford GT40 driven by Dan Gurney & A.J. Foyt.
The model is a curbside build with the Renaissance Detail set plus Studio27 photo etch set, plus some scratch made additions.
